Cute!!! I hate the word. First of all, it is a word that ranks, the watery misfiring word scale, along with words such as nice or good. Cute is a word that has no compelling emotion or emphasis behind it. If something is 'cute', it seems to deserve no more attention than the concentration span of the beholder.
Cute generally describes an inferior or defenceless state, such as a kitten or puppy. Do you think that a crocodile or a rabid racoon has ever been described as cute? I doubt it as they pose an identifiable threat to the beholder. Therefore, the benchmark for cute seems to be anything that does not pose a threat to the beholder and is viewed as defenceless against any act of aggression perpetrated by the beholder upon the beheld. Anything that can be crushed under foot would therefore be considered cute. A puppy is cute because you can step on it and it can do nothing about it. A building is not cute because you can not step on it. A teddy bear is cute while a refrigerator is not.
Cute, it could be seen, is an expression of authority or dominance over the animal, vegetable fruit or mineral in question. It is a derogatory statement and so if anyone ever calls me cute, I’ll kick their ass to prove the point.

The lost and found department at the Dublin bus station have my minidisc. Yahoo. I lost it ages ago. I didn't know whether it had been stolen or what. Great stuff. Music again.
Besides that, I just got back from Galway, on the west coast of Ireland. That was a good trip although the bus ride takes ages.
I have finally started to communicate on decent level with my friends from the college.
It's a good day!

Please note irony of preceeding posting.
I hate computers. Agggh agghh, get them away! Hit them with sticks. No more no more. Work damn it work why don't you!! No more software, no more hardware. I want a notebook. Paper and a pen. A system that will not notify me when I have made an intentional sentence fragment. Agh I say again in a loud and distressed voice.
